A warm body is tucked against me with a leg slipped in between mine. Kisses are placed along my throat and the top of my chest. I slowly come awake.

Sienna has her arms around my waist as her lips continue to explore my body. When she realizes I’m no longer asleep, she kisses up to my mouth until our lips meet and our tongues start a sensual dance.

“Bite me,” she whispers against my lips.

“Well that’s not a very nice way to greet someone in the morning.”

She smiles. “I mean it literally. Sink those fangs of yours into my flesh.”

My body becomes rigid as a piece of steel. “I don’t need to feed yet. I’m still good from the last time you let me.”

She pulls back to look in my eyes as the sun’s rays filter through the water into the windows in the room. “Who said anything about necessity?”

“Female,” I hiss. “Do you have any idea how badly I want you in every single way imaginable? How much I want to touch every inch of your skin and taste every curve?”

“If it’s half as much as I want your bite, then yes, I have a clue.” Her words, her lips, her fingers, quickly turn my insides to an inferno.

“I want to feel again, Ford. Take me the way only you can.”

I can’t hold back anymore. My fangs descend as I brush her hair aside to trace them along her delicate skin. With gentleness I never knew I possessed, I slowly sink them into the side of her neck as I line our bodies up perfectly. When the first drop of her blood hits my tongue, it sets off a frenzy of need inside me.

No matter how many females I’ve bitten, none of them have had the power to turn me on as Sienna does. It was merely physical with them. Scratching an itch. But with the female in my arms, the need to have her increases with every pull of her blood.

My hands skim down her back to find the hem of her shirt and slowly work their way under the soft material. I skate them across her sides, down to her stomach, and along the top of her leggings. What I wouldn’t give to have more of her—to have all of her. But I won’t do that yet. I won’t take her while she’s in the haze of my bite. When she makes that decision to be with me fully, it will be with a clear head.

“Please, Ford,” she says breathily as she seeks out more of my touch.

I take one last swallow of her blood before retracting my fangs and lick her neck to seal the puncture marks I made. If I kept going, I wouldn’t have been able to control myself. The need to have her would have overruled everything else and driven me to seek the sweet bliss I so badly crave.

As soon as I lean back, Sienna’s mouth is on mine, drinking down my kisses, savoring her taste on my tongue.
